There is said that Andrei will keep fighting, his coaches are Tatiana (she should help more than in previous season) and Elena and Alexander Zhulin helps with choreography. I cannot wait what the new collaboration will bring "It was a long road to this success. I'm just thinking, wow, Zhulin did "Moon over Bourbon street" for Yagudin, it can't be all bad! And besides (and I know this is an unpopular opinion), I think that Tarasova's choreography has not been showing Andrei in the best light. I think everyone here has faith that he is capable of doing more with his programs, and I hope this change will help that happen.

Which is partly good since I like his "Souvenir from Rio" much, and partly it's not that good since "The Godfather" is not that interesting, to my mind.

But when I watched it later on, I was always surprised how quickly it was over, so there must be something to it, although it's not very spectacular at first thought.

It probably prevents me from looking more deeply into this program since I'm very reluctant to watch it again, even the Cup of Russia's skate. It's this stupid irrational fear that I'll see it all over again - the fall and the surprised face.

Don't think it should be a good enough reason. Personally I am convinced there should be at least one new program each season. Although I'm not a pro regarding these things and thus might not know how it actually works or should work, and why. Sure, Vodorezova & Tarasova know much better what to do. I just hope it all works out the best possible way. crosses all the fingers she has

I would love to see the SP live the way it was at CoR last year - or, hopefully, even better. With all the spirit, perfect jumps and high marks. Whatever deity I need to pray to in order to ge it - I'm ready! gg Keeping old programs will result in new attacks on Andrei from our so-called "expert fans", especially if he successfully challenges the beloved Lutai. I hate that. I know that Andrei himself doesn't read things people write about him, but it's unpleasant to me anyway. I do my best to keep away from Russian figure skating message boards during the high season, 'cause half of people there are disgusting. Although they might very well just leave him alone for time being, since most of the fans here have aready written him off.

So I didn't know there was a problem especially with Lutai fans . I like this kid , he's good and I like his style . Of course I prefer when Andrei is better than him , but I don't think being rude towards Lutai would help very much . Maybe when you are 31 years old , you are too old for figure skaters battles - or for figure skating forums . {{ Camille }}
