I don't speak russian and I don't read any figure skating forum anyway , russian or not . So I didn't know there was a problem especially with Lutai fans . I like this kid , he's good and I like his style . Of course I prefer when Andrei is better than him , but I don't think being rude towards Lutai would help very much . Maybe when you are 31 years old , you are too old for figure skaters battles - or for figure skating forums

Eh... I would love to see the SP live the way it was at CoR last year - or, hopefully, even better. With all the spirit, perfect jumps and high marks. Whatever deity I need to pray to in order to ge it - I'm ready! *gg*

Keeping old programs will result in new attacks on Andrei from our so-called "expert fans", especially if he successfully...

I personally don't like this "nobody saw it anyways" thing Andrei says every time they decide to keep something. Don't think it should be a good enough reason. Personally I am convinced there should be at least one new program each season. Although I'm not a pro regarding these things and thus might not know how it actually works or should work, and why.

I like the short but I don't remember clearly his lp - maybe because it's not unforgetable ... but I think it was the best thing to do as almost nobody saw them .

Unfortunately it's in Russian. He was in a training camp (athletik training) and in July he started with practice. Yes, he will keep both programmes with new components according to the new rules.

Honestly speaking, the only thing from this LP that has been standing in my mind's eye ever since is the fall on the Nationals and his surprised face. It probably prevents me from looking more deeply into this program since I'm very reluctant to watch it again, even the Cup of Russia's skate. It's this stupid irrational fear that I'll see it all over again - the fall and the surprised face.

At first, I wasn't very exited about the LP either. But when I watched it later on, I was always surprised how quickly it was over, so there must be something to it, although it's not very spectacular at first thought.

Seems like Andrei keeps both programs this season. Which is partly good since I like his "Souvenir from Rio" much, and partly it's not that good since "The Godfather" is not that interesting, to my mind.

I found a short translated article about Andrei on Czech FS page.

There is said that Andrei will keep fighting, his coaches are Tatiana (she should help more than in previous season) and Elena and Alexander Zhulin helps with choreography.
